4 Week Check Up

Stella had her 4 week check up today! She weighs 10 lbs 4 oz and is 22 inches long. She is in the 74 % for weight and 76 % for length. Her doctor said "she is an awesome baby". He said that you don't see newborn babies stay consistent in their percentiles the way she has. He also said she is on the level of a 2 month old rather than 1 month...he said she is so alert and her sleeping patterns are more in the behavior of 2 months. Needless to say I walked out of the office a very proud mama!

She sleeps so well. She slept from 10 pm-6 am on Wednesday! She will sleep a good solid 5-6 hours every night. So, her doctor thinks she will be sleeping through the night, every night real soon.

When she is awake, she will stay awake for 2 hours at a time. She really enjoys her playmate, she trys to grab at the toys hanging and will stare at herself in the mirror. Its completely different this time around. Olivia was so fussy all the time until she was 3 months old. It was a terrible introduction to motherhood! Mostly because she had acid reflux...so its not like she was unhappy, just uncomfortable.

Stella's thrush is completely gone too! The doctor said its really hard to get rid of, so he said I did a good job at getting rid of it.

Ok! I'm done bragging now! I think I deserve a little bragging rights for such a sweet little baby I produced!!
