This is me the day before Stella was born! WOW!
Just as she was born 1:40 pm....I was looking at her eyelashes!
Me cutting her cord since Matt didn't want to.
Me and my 2 beautiful girls!
Stella is doing really well. We had her 1 week appointment on Tuesday and she weighs 8 lbs 11 oz, which is what she weighed when we left the hospital. The home nurse came to my house last Saturday and she was down to 8 lbs 7 oz, so I was happy she gained back some weight. Her doctor said she is perfect. She is in the 76% for weight and 73% for height. Which is way different than Olivia. She barely ever makes the percentile charts! Stella does have a yeast infection on her tongue. We have to give her medicine 4 times a day until it clears up. She is sleeping really well....I can't believe how good of a sleeper she is. She falls asleep between 9 and 10 pm and wakes up at 3 am, I change her diaper and feed her then she stays asleep until atleast 7 or 7:30! It's been wonderful to have that amount of sleep. Unfortunately she poops at 3 am, so it's hard changing her in almost complete dark! I don't want to wake Matt or Olivia, so I am literally using a very low light to change her.
Olivia is doing really well with the adjustment. She is very protective over Stella and likes to help me as much as she can. I will let her shake her bottle to mix the formula and she helps me burp her among other things. I try to involve her as much as I can. It's still a little hard to balance everything, but it's getting easier each day. Olivia has become a little more needy, but I was expecting that. I do as she asks me to do for her to reassure her she is still loved and cared for as much as her sister.

Love the pictures! I am so glad that things are going well. Hopefully the yeast infection on her tongue clears up soon. Does it bother her?
