Great Wolf Lodge

Sunday we went to Great Wolf  Lodge. Our friends Stacie and Gus were taking their daughter, Riley, for her birthday and they asked if we wanted to go with them. It was our first time there, and we had a lot of fun.  Olivia is always a little skiddish when it comes to pools.  It usually takes her 30 minutes before she warms up to the idea of getting wet.  A couple of times she complained because she got splashed by other kids walking by...a little hard not to get wet when you are swimming.  She got over it quickly and before we knew it she was going down the slides made for the toddlers/smaller kids.  I wish I would have took more pictures, but I was so worried about my camera getting wet that the ones you see are the only ones I took.  Olivia loves staying in hotels...I think she likes the rooms more than anything.  When we checked in and got into our room she looked around and said to me "This is really nice".  She also said she didn't want to wear her life vest because she wanted Riley to see her bathing suit.  She wore it the entire time (I told her she wasn't allowed to swim without it) in the pictures she doesn't have it on because we were getting ready to leave the pool and go to our room, plus it was in the very, very shallow end.  By time Monday came around she was excited that she had to wear her life vest.

I'm glad you had a good time. I know Sonya loves the place. I have been there, but I have never stayed or swam in the pool. It is a really neat place, that's for sure.
My kids love staying in hotels too.
