Visit With Santa

We took Olivia to see Santa Claus yesterday.  As you can see from the pictures she was less than thrilled to see him.  The past few weeks she's been telling us "I want to sit on his lap all by myself and tell him I want an Ariel toy".  Her tone quickly changed yesterday morning when we told her we were going to see him!  She said to me "I don't want to sit on his lap by myself" and I told her I would hold her next to him and we wouldn't sit on his lap.  She then said "Let's stand behind him"  When we got to Macy's the line was very long.  We waited for about 1/2 hour to see him.  She was fine until we were close to meeting him. She told me she didn't want to see him and she wanted to leave.  I told her I would hold her the entire time, but that still wasn't good.  She told me she wanted "Dada" to hold her.  So, Matt took her up to see him and she then started crying and asking for me.  I was laughing so hard!  I couldn't help it.  I finally got her calm enough to actually talk to him for a couple minutes and she told him she wants and Ariel toy, Jasmine toy, and a Tiana toy.  Santa asked her who her favorite princess is and she told him Ariel and he asked her about a couple of the other princesses too.  However, she was ready to get out of there!!!  Afterwards we went to Tower Place and every year we look at the different Christmas trees that are on display and you can purchase them thru the silent auction.  It's always a nice day.  However, I didn't realize until after I downloaded these pictures how fat my face is looking!
