I had a mole removed yesterday. It was on my right arm, and its been there for as long as I can remember. I have become more skin conscious and thought it looked a little funny. I had Dr. Williams look at it and he thought it would be a good idea to have it removed. He did it after his office hours yesterday afternoon. He numbed the area with local anesthetic and excised it. It's a little sore today because Olivia wanted to touch it. It's all bandaged up with tegoderm (spelling?) so she really wasn't touching it, just touching the bandage, but she forgot about it and grabbed onto my arm pretty tight this morning. It's doesn't hurt real bad, but it is a little tender.
It was sent off to pathology, so hopefully I will know what it is tomorrow when I get to work. I have three stitches and Polly (Dr. Williams' nurse) will take them out next week. Please pray that its nothing...I am a little nervous.
