Semi-Sick Baby

Olivia seems to be feeling a little better today. Her fever comes and goes. Yesterday we had a good day. It was so warm and nice ahhhh...oh how I dread the winter months! I like it a few days then I am ready for the warm weather again.

When I finally was able to get ready and go yesterday we went to the post office to drop off a package we are mailing to our friends who live in Arvada, CO. Luckily they don't go to the church where the kid killed a few people the other day. They are expecting a girl early February so we got a few things for the baby, for them and their dogs. We always send eachother gifts for Christmas. And to think we met them while we were in Mexico during our hurricane trip!

After the post office we went to the library. I didn't check anything out, I just wanted Olivia to play a little bit. They have a little play area for kids and there were a couple little kids there so she liked seeing them. One of the librarians told me about their reading times. They have a program for babies which starts in January that I am going to take her to. It will be good for both of us! After the library we went to Kroger then came home. Olivia was tired after all that and slept a lot yesterday afternoon.

Her fever subsided all afternoon then came back lastnight. She seemed to feel fine all day until the evening. She scared me too. I gave her a bath which she always loves and she was playing in the water then all of a sudden she started to cry. I got her out, wrapped her up and laid her on our bed to get her lotioned and her pjs on. Well, as soon as I laid her on the bed she fell asleep. Almost like she passed out. She scared me so bad. I woke her up after a few minutes and she ate her bottle and she was up long enough for me to get her pj's on the she fell back to sleep.

Today she's mostly congested. No drainage with funky colors so thats good! I need to run and get an ornament for my work Christmas party which is Friday afternoon. We're not doing a gift exchange this year, but an ornament exchange instead. Should be fun!

I'm glad she is feeling a little better. Ryan's fever use to go away all day and then come back at night too. I hope she feels all better soon.

An ornament exchange is a good idea.

Aww, I'm glad she is feeling better! I hate it when my kids are sick. It's worse with a baby too because they don't know how to blow their nose yet. :( She'll get over it soon! Maybe she was just SO tired she needed out of the tub.
We used to live in Arvada! That's strange! We lived on 80th in a condo. Right around the Trail Dust restaurant, Cub foods and Fazoli's. :) Does your friend live anywhere near there? We loved it so much. We could see the mountains out our front window. Jacob was born there.

Poor little baby. Has the antibiotic kicked in yet for the ear infections? I used to take Gavin and Avery to story time at the library when I was staying home - they are fun.
