Here is Olivia reading my Parents magazine about baby gaps, when to have the next baby! This was after her bath on Saturday and she wanted to be naked for awhile.
Our weekend was good. Saturday we got up and did some running around. We went to Sam's Club to buy formula then to Target and then to Cracker Barrel...so good! After that we went to the library. Olivia loved it. Its a brand new facility and they have a HUGE kids section so I let her crawl and around and play with a few of the toys. She then decided to go over to the bookshelves and knock over a few books! There is also a fishtank so she liked looking at the fish swimming. After the library we came home. I took a nap while Matt watched Olivia for a little while. Then she decided to take a nap so Matt got to take one too. Matt went to the UFC fight at US Bank Arena Saturday night. His friend is the entertainment reporter for CinWeekly so he always gets tickets to different events. Matt said the seats were in the front row just as all the fighters come out to go to the ring! Rich Franklin (he was a teacher at Oak Hills High School) got pummled. Matt said he felt bad for him he got so beat up. So, unfortunately the guy everyone came to see got beat up pretty badly.
Sunday we picked out carpet for the downstairs bedroom!!!! I am very excited. Its the California Berber (its the shag kind if anyone doesn't know what it is) we had it in our old house and we LOVED it, its so soft and just very nice. The sales lady gave us the best padding for the lowest padding cost. So, we got a good deal on it. We get it installed November 5th! Whoo hoo!! We just have to finish the rest of the basement now! After that we came home. I made brownies and watched Desperate Housewives then went to bed!
Today I think Olivia and I will take a couple of walks and clean the house...nothing real fun.
OH! I almost forgot. Olivia has a new trick now. She will pull herself up then let go! She stands all on her own for about 10 seconds. I just read that babies will do this just before they take their first step...so I think she will be doing that very soon!

She is growing so fast, I bet in no time she'll be walking everywhere!! I wonder if she was deciding when she'd want a sibling with the help of the magazine!!! I don't know how people watch that fighting stuff. I just hate it. I don't like boxing or the UFC stuff. I guess I just can't help think of the mothers of those boys and how their hearts must break watching them get hurt like that, I know I would be devastated. My husband would probably like to watch it though, I'm not sure. So anyway, can't wait to see the new carpet!! I bet it's going to look great, you have good taste!!
Oh I am excited for you. I love when a project is almost done and it comes down to the fun stuff like picking out all the fun stuff. Can't wait to see the finished product. I bet little Olivia will be walking in no time, good for her. Your life is about get a lot more active!!
Oh look at that nakey girl!!! ha ha She looks so dang cute!!! Oh, that girl will be walkin real soon I'm sure.....that's when you are gonna be exhausted girlfriend! ha ha
I just looked at that pic again and it looks like the mag says "baby Gas" instead of Baby Gaps.......ha ha CRUP!
