Basement Progress

Here are some pictures of our basement's progression. We don't have too much more to go, but all the wiring and things take a long time!

Here is the playroom. Its a mess! And we have some furniture in there that doesn't belong. Once the entertainment room is finished we will move the furniture out. We just don't have anywhere else to put it!

We will have a tv inbetween the two book cases and underneath we have a lot of storage, which is nice.

This is a bedroom. Although right now it looks more likea storage room. You can see the fireplace mantel to the right. This will eventually be going into the entertainment/family room.

Here is the bathroom. It's nice to have a bathroom downstairs, especially when we are down there playing. It's a whole lot easier to run into the bathroom than go upstairs.

Here is what still needs to be finished. We are going to move our desktop computer right where this little "nook" is. It's the perfect spot for it and once baby #2 gets here it will free up the spare bedroom upstairs.

My dad is going to build a bar where his saw is.

This is looking from where the entertainment/family room will be.

This is where the fireplace will go along with shelving on either side and a tv above the fireplace. There is storage behind the wall too. There will be two doors on either side of the fireplace so we can get behind it. It will be nice to finally be able to store stuff!

This is looking from the bottom of the steps. It doesn't look like much now, but I think it will be so nice once it's finished.

So there it is. It feels like it is never going to get finished! My dad is on his way now to work on it today....
