So far giving up the computer hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. I am findng different things to do with my time which has been nice. It is hard to think about how many e-mails I get and the notices on Facebook. I had 116 e-mails since Wednesday and 76 notices on Facebook. I can only imagine how many I will have a week from now.
I have been working a little bit on Olivia's dollhouse. I bought some flooring and baseboard to put down in the bathroom and kitchen. I am going to work on one room at a time and hopefully have it finished by Easter. That's my goal. I also bought frames and a couple Dr. Seuss books and framed the pages I cut out. It looks really good. I need to hang them, but will need Matt or my dad's help with measuring to make sure everything is even.
This week I am going to pick out a color I want to paint our kitchen cabinets. What we are going to do is buy a piece of cabinetry for $12 at Home Depot. I am going to use that piece as my trial piece to make sure the color will look good. Basically I am going to do all the steps in painting cabinets to make sure it will work. I would hate to start on the cabinets and then it look bad!!!!
Oh and I wanted to let everyone know that my brother in law's (Matt's brother) fiancee past away on Thursday. I posted about her in a previous post sometime in late December or January. It was a cluster with POA battles and all kinds of things. The short of it is a woman adopted Cindy when she was 17 years old. Since she was her last guardian this woman (Louise) was Cindy's POA. Louise had Cindy moved out of ICU into a nursing home last week. Bruce (Matt's brother) was told if Cindy were moved she would not survive. Louise moved her without anyone knowing it. Bruce went to visit Cindy and he was told she was gone and moved to the nursing home. By Tuesday Cindy was transported back to ICU because she was running a fever of 106. They had cooling blankets on her and kept her room at 40 degrees. She was still burning up. They couldn't register her blood pressure because it was so low and she had no brain activity. On Thursday they took her off life support. She lived about 1 hour on her own before passing away. Louise is in charge of the funeral arrangements and has done things in ways that Cindy would not want. For example she put Cindy in a dress for her casket and Cindy despised dresses. The obituary she wrote up didn't reflect much on Cindy at all. So, Bruce is writing his own obituary and is having his own memorial for her next weekend. We are going to the memorial next weekend, but not the funeral, which is tomorrow. Matt's mom said she would rather us come up next weekend with the family rather than tomorrow. Bruce and Pam are going to the funeral because Bruce needs the closure.
Well, I am going to post a couple pictures and then I will be back off the computer until next Sunday. Have a good week!

I am so sorry to hear that...terrible
The doll house is perfect for you. you get to decorate and redecorate without actually having to do the real house!!
Sorry about Bruce's girlfriend, that is horrible!
See ya next week!
Can't wait to see the pics of the dollhouse! The Dr. Seuss pages framed is a really cute idea.
That is terrible about Cindy. May I ask what was wrong? I must have missed that post. My prayers will definately be with Bruce and family.
Hope you have a great week!
