Surgery

Hi everyone!
I can't see that well because I still have a patch over my right eye and my glasses aren't fitting real well because of the patch! I go to the doctor at 9 and will get the patched removed. I slept almost all day yesterday. I would wake up for a little bit then I would doze back to sleep for awhile. I remember calling my work and talking to Bonnie, but I don't remember the conversation!

One funny thing I did yesterday was when the anesthesiologist came in to talk with me he was asking me a bunch of questions etc...He came over to the side of my bed and he said open real wide. So, I took my glasses off and opened up my right eye real wide. He said "No, I mean, open up your mouth real wide" He said "I am checking your teeth and throat...I'll leave the eye to Dr. Devine" I felt so dumb!

I haven't gotten sick. I felt a little nauseated yesterday, but I think all the sleeping helped me from throwing up. I've only taken Extra Strength Tylenol for the pain. Its a little sore, but I think a lot of it is the patches fault. My throat doesn't hurt either! Last time my throat hurt for 3 days afterwards from being intubated.

I am glad the surgeries are done and I pray that I don't need anymore eye surgeries! I will post later. I started on a post the other day, but haven't had the time to finish it. Just wanted to let you know I am doing fine. Thank you for the prayers and nice comments.
