Fun Weekend

We had a great weekend. The weather is absolutely gorgeous and it can't get any better than that. Friday my dad surprised me (and Olivia) and brought Gavin and Avery over. We went to the park for a while and Olivia loved swinging in the swing. She was content swinging the entire time. Gavin and Avery both pottied in the woods, which was pretty funny. After they left Olivia slept for 3 hours!!! I read almost the entire time she was sleeping and I finished the 4th and final book of the Twilight saga. (Amy, it's really good...let me know if you want to borrow it from me, or if you buy it, its worth it.)

When Matt got home we ate ribs (I had them in the crockpot all day and its one of his favorite meals) and after dinner I FINALLY finished painting the living room. It looks so good. I love the color, but now I need to find new curtains and a new area rug.

Saturday Matt had a bachelor party to go to in Louisville. I didn't want to sit around all day and night by myself, so I packed me, Olivia, and Huck and we spent the day/evening with my parents. We went to church, which was good. Olivia cracked me up though. Inbetween readings a hymn is sung and after each hymn Olivia would say "YAY" really loud and clap her hands. We sit in the very back (because my dad likes to) and everyone around us thought she was the cutest thing. Well, when it came to the part where we kneel, Olivia stood on the kneeler while I was on my knees. She liked that. She has been to church lots of times, but I usually walk out into the greeting area with her and listen with the speakers. Or I go into the crying room because it has speakers as well. So, this was a first (in a long time) for me to keep her inside rather than going out part of the way. She also started singing too, it was very cute. OH and I almost forgot, the best part. When we said The Lord's Prayer at the end of the prayer Olivia said "Amen" before she heard everyone else say it!!!
My mom, Olivia, and I went to Taste of Colerain later in the evening and we ran into my aunt, my cousin and her husband and her two boys. We talked with them the entire time we were there. The Rusty Griswold's were there playing, so Olivia danced to the music all night long. She had a great time!
There is a kiddie area we walked thru too. A few things are free, so we got a twisty balloon thing and a pencil.

Today we went shopping (looking for curtains) but I didn't find anything. Well, I found a couple curtains I like, but I need to think about it before I buy any. This week we will be preparing for our trip to Gatlinburg. I have to start my "To Do" and "To Pack" lists tonight!

YES! I want to borrow your book! I am number 20 on the wait list at the library, so it will be a while before I am able to get it there. Thanks. Your weekend sounds fun.

I finally got caught up on your posts. You have been busy!
Olivia is such a little sweetie! I would love to hear her sing pat a cake!
Kanye West would have been awesome to see. I love his music, but I think he is a bit full of himself. Of course I probably would be too if I were him!
What color is your living room? I agree, post a picture. I think the cut up sheets would only work if you used masking tape to put them up. It works!
I love Olivia's new ride. Does she ever chauffer you anywhere?
Have fun in Gatlinburg!
Oh and I am glad you were negative for your sake, but I would have celebrated with you! Babies are so much fun...
