We had an eventful weekend and it went very fast, but they always do. First off...we bought a tv!!! I am soooo excited! I should have took a picture of the tiny little one we have been watching for the past year and I am so glad to say good riddens!! It wasn't our only tv, we have a 42 inch downstairs, but with the basement not completely finished it isn't much fun to watch tv down there. I had a little tv in my bedroom when I lived at home with my parents and it was good enough for me while I lived there, but its old and so outdated! I think it was 16 inches?? MAYBE...it might be smaller! Anyways, we have been using that tv since Olivia was born because we really didn't want to take her downstairs in the cold basement to watch tv. We were against having a tv in our bedroom for a long time, but we moved the tiny one in our room so we could relax while watching tv. I don't know why I had to explain all that, but I did! So, we FINALLY bought a new one on Friday. I LOVE IT! We can actually see what we are watching now! Its a 26" Toshiba (flat screen, of course!!!)we debated between a 26" and 32" and now that we have the 26" in our bedroom its the perfect size. We got a great deal on it and are enjoying it immensely! I don't really let Olivia watch tv and she doesn't really show interest in watching tv, but with the bigger screen now she actually points at animals if she sees them!!
We also bought a new comforter for our bedroom. Matt and I both really like plain, white, down comforters (I know, not real exciting) but I dress ours up with sheets and duvets and pillows so it looks really nice. Well, Huckleberry poked a hole in our current down comforter and feathers have been coming out. Macy's is having a huge sale on things right now and we bought a new down comforter (Martha Stewart) for $49.99!! It was originally $250! So we are very happy with our savings. I want to buy a couple new decorative pillows to go with it....we also bought some new sheets. I LOVE things like that, so I am very excited!! I am going to move our old comforter to our guest bedroom (since we don't have guests very often) and get some new pillows for that next.
Saturday at my parents church they had Olan Mills taking family pictures for the church directory. I went with them and Olivia and I got in a picture with them! Olivia and I also got pictures of just the two of us that turned out so cute! I LOVE THEM! The only downside is we have to wait 3 weeks before they are ready...ugh :( After we got the pictures taken we went to church. Olivia was wanting to run around and its hard to keep her quiet in church, so I took her out in the entry area, there are speakers so I could still hear. After a few minutes of standing out in the entry area (I don't know what the official name is called) I took her outside. She was looking at the pretty flowers and walking around the outside of the church. Out of nowhere this man pulled up in a truck. At first I thought he was at church, but was leaving early. He was asking me how old Olivia is and telling me how pretty she is and asking me how old I am (He thought I was 21!) and I wasn't really answering his questions because he was starting to scare me. It turned out that he was just "driving by" and saw me standing out front and wanted to say hi. It was very creepy, luckily I was close to the doors of the church where I could run in quickly if I had to, but the man left as soon as someone walked out of church. That's what really scared me, if someone is innocent and not wanting anything why would he drive off so quickly as soon as someone walked out the church doors?? He also asked me if my husband was inside. I said yes (even though Matt wasn't with us) just so he knew I wasn't alone. My mom says she is going to report the incident to the church.
Other than that we have all been enjoying the beautiful weather! We went to the park with my friend Stacie and her daughter Riley last Wednesday, it was a lot of fun, but it got very hot!!!
I just want to get through the next few days of cooler weather and look forward to it getting warm again!!

wow, that is creepy and scary. i would have gone into a fetal position but I am just like that. i am terrified of violent crimes!
the comforter sounds nice and the tv sounds great. I get exicted abiut new cameras like you do about home wares.
Whoa, that is very scary! That's sad that we can't even feel safe at Church.....creepy people are everywhere! ugh!
I wanna see the new comforter and pillows all done up! I bet it looks pretty. Congrats on having a big t.v in your bedroom, now you are an official married couple!!! ha ha

Well I certainly hope that man was innocent, but it seems that he wasn't. Hopefully he won't ever do that again. I'm glad your mom reported it.
Congratulations on the new t.v.!! Our church does the pictures with Olan Mills too, but when we went we didn't order any because they seemed to be priced so much more than I get elsewhere. They gave us a free 8x10 just for coming and we got that, but it was like $30 a sheet for more pictures, and that was just crazy when I get them for $4 at JCPenney. I hope your pictures come out well, maybe you can let us see them!
