Back To Reality

I have started taking down our Christmas decorations. I went down to the basement to get the bins we store everything in and I have decided our basement needs a good cleaning! We just throw things down there with no rhyme or reason and its become quite a junk collection! It will be better once the playroom is finished (which its well on its way!) but it looks awful down there!! Its kinda scary!

Yesterday we did nothing. The only thing we accomplished was put together a table and chairs for Olivia. Its so cute. I'll take a picture and post it.
Olivia was playing yesterday and hit her head against my nose. I saw stars for a few hours and my nose is still sore today.

Oh and I got a text message from Amy (that I work with) her daughter Kennedy just turned 1 in December. She told me Kennedy had 3 seizures over the weekend. I called Amy after she text me and she told me what she does when she has a seizure is her jaw drops all the way down to her neck and her eyes roll completely behind her head. She said she stops moving all together and they last for 45 seconds. She's going to see a neurologist tomorrow so please pray for her.

sammy had the same seizures and most of the time they are harmless. I will pray though to be sure. I know that they are scary and you want to stinkin die when it happens. Did she get her shots 13 days ago or a few days ago?? Ask her that! I swear there is a link and my doctor swears there isn't. Sammy had his one year shots and then 13 days later had a seizure. when i told other mothers, they were like "yeah that happened to our son or niece or uncle". It was crazy how often someone knew of someone. SCARY stuff. Those shots are susposed to be helping them not hurting them.

That's interesting. I will let her know. Her birthday is Dec. 15 and I know Amy mentioned her getting 5 shots 2 weeks ago...that worries me with Olivia turning one next month and the shots she will receive. Pray it doesn't happen to Olivia too.

I talked to Amy again and Kennedy is getting an EEG on Tuesday morning and will see the neurologist NEXT Friday.

Our brother David had those seizures too, every time he had a high fever. It was terrible but harmless to him, we were all traumatized!!

That's scary about your friend's baby - I'll say a prayer for her.
