Good Week

What a fast week! Whew wee! As I am typing this I think this is going to be a long post so get your reading glasses ready!

Well, where do I begin? It feels like I have been out of the loop for so long now and its just been a week! Tuesday we went to my parents house in the afternoon and Matt got there after work. Olivia decided to wake up at 6 am on Wednesday so that was a lot of fun. We left my parents around 9:15 am and headed to Columbus. We met Brooke and Jason at Brooke's mom's house. It was so nice seeing them. Their boys are really cute, unfortunately I left our camera packed in the car so I didn't get any pictures of the boys and Olivia together. So, you'll have to take my word for it, they are very cute! They are 10 weeks younger than Olivia and so much bigger than her, but are unable to roll over or sit up yet...Olivia wanted to play with them, but they both had a bit of a cold so we made sure she kept her distance! We stayed at Brooke's mom's for a couple of hours and then left for Galion (where my mothter in law now lives) We thought we would beat the traffice (we left around 2:30 pm) but no such luck. It was bumper to bumper all the way from Polaris to the Galion exit (Charity probably knows where I am talking about) We got to his mom's around 4 pm. It took us about 30 minutes longer than what it should have.

When we got to his mom's house she took us for a tour of her new place. I really like, its very nice and cozy. She's been "in" the house for 3 weeks now and has done amazing things considering she just had knee surgery a couple weeks before that! Thanksgiving morning Matt, Olivia and I went to Meijer. They had a Thanksgiving day sale and we wanted to buy her this kitchenette set, but it was sold out....so I called my dad and he went to their Meijer and it was sold out too. His mom cooked Thanksgiving dinner for about 20 people and it was all so delicious. Olivia was a hit! I sat her next to me in her booster seat and fed her some pears and tryed giving her a bite of my mashed potatoes, but she didn't want any part of it. She entertained everyone so that was nice! Of course everyone thinks she is just the cutest thing with a personality that doesn't stop!

Friday we went to his dad side of the family for Thanksgiving dinner too. I wish his dad was around to see Olivia and be with us. So, she met a whole lot of people in just two days. It was fun. Saturday we ran around, went shopping and things like that. We went back to his mom's and ordered pizza. Sunday we came home. As we were getting ready to hit the road Matt realized he lost his wallet. He thought he had dropped it in the parking lot when he picked up the pizza on Saturday. We searched everywhere and it was nowhere to be found, we called the restaurant and looked in the parking lot. We went to my parents house as we got back into Cincinnati (Huck stayed at their house all weekend) and when we got there Matt canceled his credit cards and debit cards.

We stayed the night at my parents house Sunday and Monday. Matt worked until midnight lastnight, so I felt there really wasn't a real rush for me to come home. So, he just came back to their house after work lastnight.

This morning my dad, Olivia and myself went to my grandma's house. She hasn't seen Olivia in a few months so she was happy to see us. We visited for a while and I dropped my dad off, picked Huckleberry up and now I am home and it feels so good to be home!

Low and behold as I was emptying out our car of all of the thousand things we had to pack I found Matt's wallet!!! YAY! It was in a plastic bin full of junk that his mom insisted he bring home. So, that is good I found his wallet!

Now I am off to do laundry and unpack all our stuff!

I am glad you found the wallet. It always happens that way, as soon as you cancel everything you find the wallet. Sounds like a busy but fun week. Of course Olivia was a hit, she is too stinkin' cute. Some day I hope to actually meet her. Hope you get everything unpacked and can relax and enjoy being home.

you know, you can take a back way to that Galion exit. do you get off at that exit or keep going and get off at the Mansfield exits? just wondering. we get off at the galion exit, but we've gone route 3 to 61 so we don't have to get on the highway to get to 61/Galion. we had no traffic going or coming home. but the highway was packed on the way home so we went our back way again and had no traffic. woohoo!

I'm glad you had a good visit. I love time with the family. It's great that you found Matt's wallet, I just hate that feeling when I can't find something important. Hope to see some pics soon of miss Olivia! I bet she's so much bigger than the last pics already!!!
