Our Weekend

Our weekend was nice, kind of sporatic. Friday Matt's best friend, Tree (his real name is Scott), came over. He moved to Florida a few years ago and was in town for homecoming (UC). He brought his girlfriend, Stacey, with him. Stacey lives in Iowa, so I am not sure how they met...I forgot to ask. They were at our house for about an hour. Tree hadn't met Olivia until Friday and she really liked him! She let him pick her up and smiled at him and she liked him! Its tradition to go to Woody's on Friday night before homecoming, but since it was our anniversary we didn't go. We went to Ruby Tuesday's for our anniversary dinner. It was good, it was nice just the three of us.

Matt has been sick for about a week I think its a combination of his broken tooth and just getting sick. After we got home from dinner I gave Olivia a bath and Matt went to bed.

Saturday Olivia had her flu shot. She did really well. The worst part was laying her on the table! She knew what was coming and started to cry (just from being there for previous shots). She hardly noticed the shot and as soon as I picked her up she was done crying. She did really well. The nurse asked me her date of birth and I told her February 17th and she said "Oh, ok, so she is 6 months old" I guess she thought she was younger since she is so little! After her flu shot we went back home. Matt left to go to Clifton, he went to Woody's and hung out with a lot of our friends for homecoming. He went to the game that night, but unfortunately UC lost to Louisville :( Him and his friend Chris have season tickets and apparently they are really good seats. At the 50 yard line about 15 rows up. I wasn't partaking in any of the homecoming events, so I went to my parents. I didn't want to sit at home all day by myself.

I went to NY & Co. and bought a couple pairs of jogging pants and matching long sleeve shirts. I needed some for the cooler weather and especially since I home more often than at work. The workers at NY & Co. talked to Olivia and she smiled and thought they were funny. It was really cute, well I wound up going back later on in the day because the pants were too big and the one girl was still working so she remembered Olivia and talked to her again. It was sweet.

I went to church with my parents and was planning on going home, but it was getting late and I was getting tired so I stayed the night. Matt didn't get home until midnight anyway, so its not like I would have seen him! My dad, Olivia and myself got up early and came back to my house on Sunday. My dad worked on the basement for the majority of the day and around 3 we went to Beechmont. My parents bought Matt a gift certificate for Christmas last year for a store that sells bar signs and all kinds of things for a bar so we went there. He found a Miller Lite sign that he likes and it has the programmable scrolling sign that comes with it, but they don't know how to program the sign. Apparently there is a program you can download off the internet, but the owners don't know how to figure it out. If anyone knows how to do it, please let me know. He didn't buy it, but if he figures it out he will. Otherwise he found a Foster's sign he likes too. After we went there we went to Roy Rogers to eat! It was really good! They have hamburgers, chicken, etc...it was good. My mom picked my dad up after we got back and they hung out for a little while and went home.

I gave Olivia a bath and got her to sleep and watched Desperate Housewives and went to sleep!

Not a very exciting weekend, but it was eventful...I guess!
