I am a "list" type person. I start lists and I love to scratch off things I have accomplished. Well, I know I have 3 weeks to prepare and pack, but I feel like it will take me that long to remember all I need to pack! You're probably wondering what I am talking about! OOPS! Thanksgiving...we go to my mother in laws every year and in the years past I have only had to worry about packing things for myself. Well, that is forever changed now with Olivia...obviously. So, today I am starting my "to pack list" because I am worried I will forget something that is extremely important i.e. video camera, camera, extra batteries etc...There are a few things we will pick up once we are there, but the majority of things I will need to bring with. I think if I start to write down things as I think of them I won't be as stressed out as it gets closer to leaving. We are going for an extended time this year too. We usually go from Wednesday evening to Saturday, but we are leaving Wednesday morning, driving to Columbus and meeting our friends Jason and Brooke (who live in Florida with twin boys, but are coming to Columbus for Thanksgiving) and we are going to spend the majority of the afternoon with them since its been a year since we have seen them last. Then we will make the way to Mansfield later...early evening sometime. That way the 3 hour trip will be broken up a bit and will be better for Olivia and my sanity! Then we will stay in Mansfield thru Sunday and possibly come back Sunday or MOnday.
I am really looking forward to Thanksgiving. I do every year, but this year will be Olivia's first and she will also meet some new people! Matt's mom also moved into a new house so I am looking forward to seeing her new home. She hasn't seen Olivia since July when we were there for Cedar Point. She's had a lot going on, had a knee replacement and moved into her new home and sold her old one. So I think she will be happy to see her.
Off to eat some lunch and start my list!

We go to Disney twice a year and i make a need to pack list every time. Actually I just keep it on my computer now and them print it out and cross everything off as I pack it. It makes things so much easier. A list is a must. I love the Holidays, from Halloween to New Year's I just love it. Have fun!!
I too am a list maker and if I do something that is not on the list, I will write it on the list just so I can cross it off......I'M SICK!

I love lists too, especially packing lists. I usually commemorate the two week mark for a trip with the start of the pack list. It gets me excited for the trip coming up. Well I hope you have fun packing and a great trip!
