I just thought I would mention incase you actually drove away like that, that the handle on the carseat should always be down while driving. MOST people do not know that. If you look down at the bottom of the seat, it will say that the handle must be down for the seat to flip up correctly during a collison. I see people driving all the time with the handle up. They even make toys to attach to it. Those are meant for the handle while you are in the grocery or out and about not while driving. Thought I would tell you incase.
oh duh, i see now that it is not even in a car...sorry, thought it was. you may already know about it. We learned it in a safety class before giving birth to our first son.
That was very good advice! I tell people that all the time too. If you were to get into an accident and the baby went forward, she would hit the handle.....my daycare parents always made this mistake.
