Its Friday

The past few days have been a little busy for me! After Tuesday's fiasco I am finally starting to feel like I am not a terrible mother, just accidents happen and I have learned a valuable lesson.

So, this weekend I am traveling to Ontario, OH to my mother in laws for a baby shower for Olivia. We did not have the time to have one there while I was pregnant so that is why she is having one now. Plus it gives Matt's side of the family a chance to meet her since we usually only see them twice a year. I am looking forward to it, just not looking forward to the 3 hour drive tomorrow morning. However, I woke up this morning and my right nostril is all clogged up. I really hope I am not getting Matt's cold. It feels more like a sinus issue more than a cold, so I guess I will load up on some Claritin tonight!

Nothing else is really going on, I guess I am going to start packing my things in awhile so I am not rushing tomorrow morning! My mother in law is so excited to see Olivia! The last time she saw her was when she was 5 days old! She will look so big to her now, plus she is smiling when I talk to her! Its the sweetest smile! I always tell her to show me her gums! She is starting to realize who I am now too which is an amazing feeling. The other night she was crying pretty hard and my mom was holding her trying to comfort and console her. Nothing worked. I took her from my mom and was holding her and talking to her and she quit crying within seconds! It was the first time where I think she just wanted me! I loved it, it really made me feel good knowing she knows who I am now.
