Here I am at 35 weeks! I will be 36 weeks on Monday...it's getting so close now! The baby's room is finished except for hanging a couple of things. Once I get those things hung I will take pictures. I am officially nesting. I cannot stop cleaning and organizing. That's all I want to do all day, everyday...it's taken over my entire life right now!!!
I had my 35 week appointment yesterday. I saw my doctor's midwife because he is out of town. She checked me and said my cervix is still pretty far back. I have been having braxton hicks a few times each day, but last Sunday I was having them pretty regularly all day long. I can see why some people go to the hospital thinking they are in labor. They weren't painful or anything, but they were consistent pretty much all day. I told his midwife and she said that the braxton hicks are getting ready to get my cervix to move forward. She also said (and so did my doctor) that the baby will be bigger than Olivia. Olivia was 6 lbs 7 oz and they are predicting bigger than that. I don't know what I will do with a 7 or 8 pound baby!!! Olivia was so tiny and she still is...maybe this baby will favor my side of the family with being tall. Guess we will see in a few weeks!!! I see my doctor again in 10 days.
Matt took the day off yesterday and he went to my appointment with me. After my appointment we went to the zoo. It was a hot!! We didn't realize the children's zoo reopened yesterday. I thought it reopened last week, but we got to see it yesterday! They have baby goats which are so cute. Olivia enjoyed petting them and feeding the adult goats. We also saw a baby monkey which was born on Olivia's birthday. It was so tiny and cute, I wanted to take him home! It was probably one of the funnest times we have had at the zoo. The animals were awake and active and it wasn't very busy. There were a few field trips, but they left around 1:30 or so. We stayed until a little after 3.
We are planning on going to Great Wolf Lodge for my birthday (June 7th) We will go on Sunday, the 6th and stay the night. My only worry is that it's a week before I am due! I will make sure I take my things for the hospital "just in case", but we want to do something special with Olivia before her sister arrives. So I am hoping Stella doesn't have plans to arrive any sooner than the week of the 14th.

haha you are flippin adorable!!! ALL BELLY! You will go right back your skinny little self girlie! Try to relax a little tho. Don't put so much pressure on yourself to get everything perfect. You deserve rest and relaxation right now. can't wait til the little bundle arrives!!!! I bet you can't either! ha
WOW, you are getting there. how exciting!! Can't wait to see pics of the room.
You are just a stunning pregnant lady!!! I was going to say preggo, but I didn't want to be rude!
You look great!
The zoo sounds like so much fun. Olivia will remember these special days. Great Wolf will be fun for her too.
I am excited to see the pics of all your projects!!!
I had no idea the children's zoo was open again..yay! I wanna go again.
You look amazing but you always do. In person, you look less pregnant because you are not standing still posing, ya know? I know it has been several weeks since I have seen you but you look smaller in person even from the pics before.
I still notice your/my pictures in the background of your pictures. That is still so cool for me to see our work anywhere.
I nested terribly with both boys. It is quite helpful I think because I am not typically that productive.
We are going to be there at the same time AGAIN..at GWL. Isn't that funny?? I posted this morning about it.
Have a good last few weeks.
POSTY POST POST! :-P
