24 Weeks

I haven't taken a picture of my belly yet, but I will and post it later this week.  It's funny that I feel like I should be farther along than 24 weeks.  Although, 16 MORE weeks sounds a lot closer than 4 more MONTHS.  I started painting her room yesterday.  As more paint is going on the walls the more I like the color and I think it will look really good with the bedding, crib, furniture, etc...At first I thought it was way too bright.  The color swatch looks rose like, almost muted rose with a little brownish tint. When it goes on the wall it is like a pink sherbert!  Oh well, bright colors stimulate babies, so maybe it's a good thing.

My baby definitely has her periods of moving around A LOT!  I can almost pin point at what time of day she will be most active.  Sometimes it's a little different depending on if she has turned or whatever, but it's fun sitting and waiting on her to make the first move!  Olivia felt her actually kick today.  I held her hand on my belly and within a few seconds we felt her.  It was neat to share that with Olivia.

I have read the baby is now the size of an ear of corn and weighs just over a pound!  Her lungs are developing branches of the respiratory "tree" and her taste buds are starting to develop!  She can taste some of the yummy food I am sending her way!!!
