Saturday we went to UC's homecoming. We have season tickets, so it is nice to have our seats on the 50 yard line with the old folks rather than the student section. A lot of our friends come into town each year for homecoming and we always have fun. We got to campus around 10:30 am and hung around the ATO house with a bunch of our friends. The parade started at noon and we watched that then went back to ATO. When we got back to the house the Bearcat was hanging out getting pictures with whoever wanted one and he layed around on the couches. Olivia LOVES the Bearcat and I wish she could have been there to see him up close and get her picture. My friend Brandy and I went shopping at The Bookstore and DuBois. I bought a zip up sweat shirt w/hood. It's nice, it has the "C" paw on the top left on the front and since it is zip up I can wear it even as my belly grows. I also got a really cute bag. I hate carrying around my big diaper bag, especially since Olivia no longer wears diapers. It's black and it has the "C" paw on it. It's a lot smaller and it is perfect right now. I can put a couple of snacks and my wallet and some other things without having a big bulky bag! The game was great! Of course UC won 41-10 which is always nice!
Sunday I felt nauseated almost all day. The thought of food made me queasy, nothing sounded good. I forced myself to eat a hoagy from LaRosa's and still today it makes me sick to my stomach thinking about it. I feel nauseated just thinking about any type of food anytime. Of course I have to eat and I have not actually thrown up yet, but sometimes I wish I would to get it out of my system. I think being nauseated is much worse than actually throwing up. With Olivia I expected to get up every morning and puke then go on with my day and feel ok. This time around I feel nauseated randomly throughout the day. If I don't eat it gets worse, but the thought of eating makes me sick to my stomach! The one thing that has been rather calming to my stomach is popsicles, which they helped me with my pregnancy with Olivia too.
I definitely am starting to pop out a little bit. I took a picture of my belly the other night, so I need to post that. A couple people from work have actually noticed it.
I have an appointment on Friday to get my H1N1 vaccine. After talking it over with a nurse from my work I feel like it is a necessity for me. Especially being pregnant, I am at a high risk. Luckily we spend most of our days at home and we do limit our "going out" but it's not good enough. I will feel so much better once I am vaccinated and Olivia as well. Although her pediatrician's office is only giving the vaccine to children with underlying medical conditions such as asthma, congential heart etc...I check their website several times a day to see if anything is posted about it.
Well that's about it for now...I have some pictures I will post of our new landscaping. Matt's friend did it and it looks so good!
