I had my first prenatal visit today. Technically I shouldn't have been seen until I am 8 weeks, but I already had my yearly scheduled so my doctor did some things today. They had me pee in a cup (which I better get used to doing again) and his nurse told me if my menstrual cycle was regular I would be due June 5th, but since my cycles have always been consistently irregular my due date is June 14th...HOWEVER! My doctor says my uterus is DEFINITELY pregnant and I am measuring 7 or 8 weeks rather than 4 or 5. Which means it could be a couple of things: that I am farther along than I thought, I am expanding earlier because it's a second pregnancy or dun dun dun...there could be more than one baby in there! YIKES! I am hoping for one of the first two!!! It is what it is. He said if I start expanding quickly that is a good sign there is multiple babies. I go back on November 16th and he said we should be able to hear the heartbeat then YAY! I almost cried when he told me that. So, I guess we will see if we hear one or two heartbeats (or more) He also said he will do a couple of ultrasounds. One so we can get a more accurate due date (earlier vs later) and the second for finding out the sex and looking at everything. He said the symptoms I am having are good symptoms to have and that everything is good!
Lastnight Olivia was laying on the floor and she said "I used to lay like this when I was a baby" and I said to her "I have a baby in my belly" and she said "ME"! She also said to me the other day as she was looking up at our door that opens up to above our garage "Are all of my clothes up there" and I said "Yes, all the clothes you have outgrown" and she said "Those are for my brother"
