Here are some pictures of Olivia meeting Jasmine and Ariel. I will post the rest tomorrow or something. Ariel's Grotto opened at 10 am and we wanted to arrive in line at 9:45 (that is what our itinerary told us to do) and we didn't get in line until 10:15 because we spent too much time riding the Merry Go Round. We waited in line about 30 minutes, which wasn't bad. Olivia entertained us while she sang "A Part of Your World". There were speakers playing that and "Under The Sea" over and over again and kids jumping on these big drum like things that squirted water. We overheard someone behind us say a friend of hers was at Disney during spring break and the line for Ariel was 4 hours! HOLY COW! I don't think I would wait in line that long.

We found Jasmine just by chance. We rode The Magic Carpets of Aladdin and Matt spotted her on the ride. As soon as we got off the ride we tried to stand in line, the line was closed and wouldn't reopen for another hour. So, we rode a couple more things and went back to the line. While racing back from The Jungle Cruise it started raining pretty heavily. Poor Olivia (and myself) got soaked. We were standing in line to meet Jasmine and Olivia started crying because it started raining harder. Matt stayed in line and Olivia and I stood under a shelter. Matt got SOAKED! What a good Da da. Her hair was still wet when we met Jasmine! Luckily it rained for a little while (I think it got less busy) and it stopped after about 20 minutes. It didn't rain the rest of our trip, which made me very happy.
She was so happy to meet all the princesses, but Jasmine and Ariel are her FAVORITES. I was so impressed how easily she went to them and hugged on them and talked to them. It was worth the $300 it cost Matt and I to get into the park to see her light up when she saw her favorite people.

looks like she had a fantastic time!
i felt like that our first trip because we spent so much money. I was thrilled Sammy was all into the characters. I think 2- 2 1/2 is the perfect age for the first trip.
