Happy Easter

I made it! It's officially Easter, so I am on the internet at 12:54 am because I know the next few days are going to be busy. I am so proud of myself for giving up the internet for lent. It is amazing how much time (I didn't realize) I am on the computer. I feel like I am FREE when I am not sitting in front of the computer for an hour here or 1/2 hour there throughout each day. I am able to do so much more with my time. When Olivia is napping I am able to work on things around the house or when she is not napping or playing I am spending more time with her. Its definitely been a good thing and even though I am back to using it on a regular basis I am going to keep myself limited. I think I may just get on in the evenings after she is asleep for the night unless of course I need to do something, but to just get on facebook or blogging, it can wait.

I have some pictures I need to download and post. We took Olivia to see the Easter bunny at the library today. She saw him a couple weeks ago at the mall and was waving to him. She told me she wanted to sit on his lap all by herself and get a picture. She's been talking about it atleast several times a day for the past two weeks. When we went into the room where he was at the libary she started waving to him right away. She sat down on the floor and waved to him, it was the sweetest thing. When it was our turn to get pictures and have her sit on his lap she went right up to him, she shook his hand and was getting ready to climb onto his lap when he (the Easter bunny) spoke. It FREAKED her out. She stepped away and she said she didn't want to sit on his lap anymore. I tried coaxing her and telling her she could sit on my lap or sit on the floor, but she didn't want to. The lady who was in charge of the pictures said we could wait a few minutes and see if she wanted to try again. We waited and she said she wanted to sit on his lap, but he started talking to her again and that was it. So, we were leaving when she started crying saying she wanted to see the Easter bunny. We went back inside to try it again. She waved at him, but would not go near him. He even came over to her and that scared her even more. I felt like screaming at the Easter bunny at this point. If he just didn't talk in the first place she would have gotten on his lap. So, we left empty handed only pictures of her waving at him. I wish we got a picture of her shaking his hand. Oh well, atleast it was free!

I am done with my kitchen cabinets. I have to paint the toe kicks and I am completely finished. My dad is going to put the rest of the hardware on Tuesday, so I will take a picture when he does that. They look really good! I know I keep saying that, but now that they are ALL done it makes my kitchen look so much brighter and bigger.

I have been packing things slowly all week for our trip. We're going to leave around 4 am on Wednesday. Atleast 4 is the goal, it might be closer to 5 am depending on how tired I am. I told Matt I would drive the first part if we could leave super early!

Well, I am going to try and get some shut eye. We have a busy day (with Easter and all!) I hope you have a wonderful Easter!
