Tired Of The Rain

We have had a busy week and upcoming week ahead. I have been working hard on painting our cabinets and they are looking really good. I am really pleased with how they are turning out. I am just about finished with all the upper cabinets. I have four more to put the polycrylic on and I will be all done with the uppers. I picked out hardware and I asked my dad to start putting it on when he watches Olivia on Tuesday. I can't wait to see how it will all look when the bottoms are done too.

Inbetween the rain and cold days we have tryed to spend a lot of time outside, when we can. We have gone down to visit the horses and donkies when its warm enough to do so. We have learned the llama's name is George, the donkey's names are Amigo and Raindrop, the big horses names are Honey and Sunny and they also have a miniature horse (which is pregnant) named Star. Olivia asks almost everyday to go down and pet the animals. We were petting the bigger horses one day last week and I stopped petting the one horse and he stomped his back foot! Like he was telling me he wasn't finished with my petting him! It scared me and Olivia cracked up laughing because I jumped and she tells everyone how it scared me.

I have started our itinerary for Disney. I am making a detailed map for Magic Kingdom and Disney Hollywood Studios. I have marked all of the attractions we will be able to do. We have decided to stay at Pop Century. We'll be at the Renaissance Hotel for a couple nights (when we go to SeaWorld) then on Sunday we will be switching hotels to Pop Century. It will be a whole lot easier rather than driving to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. We can hop on a tram and get there without worrying about parking. I still need to MapQuest directions to Orlando, but I still have time...a little over two weeks to go!

Olivia has made progress on her potty training. Up until the past couple weeks when we have been out she refused to go potty in a public restroom. She said the big potty scared her, so when she would have to go potty I would have to put a diaper on her. Sometimes she could hold it until we got home, but I didn't want to take that chance everytime. Well, we were at the library and she said she had to go potty. I took her into the restroom and she ran over to the toilet. I pulled her pants down, sat her on the potty and she went! I was so proud of her! Ever since then if we have been out she will go on the public restrooms. It's a HUGE relief because I hated that we had to put a diaper on her for her to go potty. She also doesn't wear a diaper to bed anymore. She has done so good holding it all night long.

That's about it. Only 2 weeks to Easter and I will be able to get on the internet at my leisure again! I am looking forward to it!!!

Yes, it has been lonely without you! Way to go Olivia! I remember how thankful I was when potty training was done!
That is neat that you have all those animals right by you, like your own little petting zoo!!
I am looking forward to seeing pics of the cabinets, you have really been working hard on them.
See you next week!
