My mother in law bought this dollhouse at an auction for $38 a few months ago. The woman she bought it from has put roughly $800 into this dollhouse. It is run with electric and has brick and shingles. I have to put in the windows (which have plexi glass in them and they move up and down) and I will paint it and put hardwood floors and all the doors and the lighting fixtures. I am so excited to get started on it! I was playing a little bit with it tonight and I will take pictures on my progress. This is only 1/3 of the house too. It has two more parts to it that are in the garage right now. I figure I will work on the main part first then the other two when I am done.Oh and Olivia had a great birthday party today. I have pics of that coming in a day or two.

Cool! Although, why would anyone spend $800 on a dollhouse!?!?!? That seems crazy!! You got a good deal though !
That is the coolest thing ever! What a special gift for Olivia to keep for her own kids one day! I love it, I definitely want to see it all finished! have fun!
