We had a nice Thanksgiving. Mansfield was, well....Mansfield. I can't say much about it because its so boring! We came home early Saturday morning and I have had a horrible head cold since Thursday. Thursday was the worst. I could barely breathe and my mother in law thought I should have went to the hospital. I started feeling a lot better on Friday after I got some cold/flu medicine in my system.
While we were in Mansfield (well, technically we were in Galion, OH) we learned that Matt's good friend Jeff's mom passed away. She had battled breast cancer and it came back and she also had leukemia. Jeff and Abby (Jeff's wife) both went to UC and lived in Cincinnati for a long time, but they moved to Toledo a little over a year ago. Jeff is from Lexington, OH (about 25 minutes from Matt's mom's house) so we went to the calling hours on Friday evening. A lot of our friends came to the calling hours, which I thought was so nice. They all drove up from Cincinnati or Indianapolis to show their support. I had met Betty (Jeff's mom) several times. She came to our wedding and to Matt's dad's funeral and we spent Christmas Eve at her house 2 years ago. She has always been such a lovely lady and even though she had a tough battle with cancer you wouldn't know it. She was so strong and such a good woman.
Saturday we went to my sister's house to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family and that is what the pictures are from. Whatever Avery does Olivia wants to do to!
