I was wondering when your first time was when you left your baby/babies all night. Meaning, you were out of town and he/she stayed at someone's house, other than your own, without you. How many nights were you away and how bad was it?
The reason I ask is because we have a couple things coming up. One of them being flying somewhere for 3 nights. And another we have a wedding to go to in Columbus. I might ask my mom to come with us and stay in a hotel with us on that trip though.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I read your title!
Gabe was 5 months old and I was so nervous! I left my mom and dad detailed, I am talking pages, of instructions complete with drawings in case she didn't get the written. I know, a bit much. He survived and so did we! The triplets were well over a year I believe before we left them with anyone. The first time is always difficult, but it is good for both the child and the parents! I hope you decide to go and have a wonderful time!
The first time I left Daws overnight was when he was 3 years old......I am weird about overnights! With Cam I had no choice to let J take him overnight since it was his visitation! Daws is 8 and just had his first sleep over with a friend (that we know very well)
hmm i don't really remember . I know sammy stayed by the time he was 2 probably before with Steve's parents. i think you do it when YOU are ready!!
I think the boys were 3-6 months. They had just had one of their first rounds of vaccinations. I had a continuing education thing to go to, so they stayed at my mom's. I agree that it's up to you, when you are ready. I knew before the boys were born that I would be the kind of mom who was able to leave them right way. I did probably feel safer with my mom though since she is a nurse.
Ryan was 13 months old and stayed at my house with my mom. The drive to Gatlinburg was horrible I cried the whole way. Also I am not really thrilled by Gatlinburg so I wanted to come home the whole time. That is the only time.
Hmm.... I really can't remember. We didn't have family close by though, so it was for sure not when he was a baby, baby. Maybe when he was 1 1/2 or 2 or maybe even 2 1/2. haha! Travis was much older. But Travis was very clingy to me and Jacob was very comfy and secure away from us.
