Fun Weekend Getaway

Our weekend was so much fun! We drove to Indianapolis early Friday afternoon. We got into the city around 2 pm. Since Scott and Brandy had to work and do a couple things we had about 3 hours to kill. We went to Castleton Mall and walked around for about an hour. We found Olivia the cutest "Ella" (a.k.a Cinderella) bikini. Olivia LOVES Ella *that is what she calls her* and she looks so incredibly adorable wearing it. We also bought her an Ella Barbie doll. I also bought little baby Joey a cute little outfit from Children's Place. After the mall we went to the Castleton Grille. It was ok, nothing to rave about and the service was incredibly slow for only 3 other tables of people eating! But it did kill enough time for us to finish and head to Super Target! By this time Scott was home, but we had to buy a few refrigerated items for Olivia.

We got to Scott and Brandy's a little after 5 pm. As soon as I got there Scott handed me Joey! Oh it was so much fun holding a 10 lb baby again! He seemed so light and so little. OH and his feet are so stinkin' cute! They are so small! I held him for a good half hour or so and Olivia would point and say "baby". She like him and she wasn't jealous of me holding him either. When Brandy got home we went to dinner at a place called Ram. It was really good. I had Bbq chicken quesadillas. They were delicious! We got back to there place and talked for a little while before heading to bed.

Saturday morning Scott and Matt got up at 5:30 am to drive to a friend's brother's lake house. They golfed and there tee time was at 7 am!!! The lake house was a little over an hour away, so they were gone all morning and part of the afternoon. Brandy and I went shopping. We hit Babies 'R' Us and Carter's store. I, of course, bought Olivia a few things from the Carter's store. It was all on sale and I got really good deals. We got some lunch and headed back to the house. We hung out until the hubbies got home then Brandy and I went and got pedicures while they watched the kids. When we got back the kids were sleeping, so instead of going out to dinner Matt and Scott picked up Panera. We were all craving Dairy Queen, so I volunteered to pick us up some dessert. Me, Brandy, and Olivia all loaded in my car and picked up our treats.

We were all pretty worn out and went to bed early. We got up early this morning and left around 9 am. Scott and Brandy had to drive to Sidney for a family get together and we had to pick up Huck from my parents. We hung out with my parents for a few hours and got home awhile ago.

I love Indianapolis, well they actually live in Fishers, IN, about 30 minutes from downtown Indy. I could see myself living there, actually Matt tryed talking me into moving there about 1 1/2 years ago, but I said no. I would move there in a heartbeat if I could move my parents and sister too!!!
