St. Ann's Festival

Saturday we went to St. Ann's festival with my dad. My grandma, aunt, and mom all came too, but my grandma's motorized cart broke down. She can't get around that well and walks with a crutch so they had to leave. We tried getting a wheelchair, but the church didn't have any. So, Matt, Olivia, and I went to church with my dad then right afterwards we walked around the festival. It was a lot of fun. We ate hot dogs and brats and played a few games. Olivia won a stuffed snake! She played a game called "Kerplunk" (its basically "Blinko" on The Price is Right) You have to drop a disc down a board and it goes thru all these pegs and if it lands in the correct spot you win. She played a couple of times and when she was about ready to drop the disc she would look at the man running the booth and smile. I can't believe she won! It was funny it dropped in the correct spot and we all starting cheering for her. She also played tic tac toe. That was a little harder. She had to roll a ball and get tic tac toe. The girl still gave her a plastic necklace.

My dad played a game where you pay $5 for the chance to win $100. You pick a number and after all the numbers are sold they spin a wheel and if it lands on your number you win. Well, we wanted the #17 (for Olivia's birthdate) and it was already taken, so my dad chose #9. We walked around for a little bit until the rest of the numbers were sold. Wouldn't you know that #17 won! Figures!!!!

Olivia also loved watching the rides. They had a Viking Ship which amazed her. I asked her if she wanted to ride it and she said "No"!!! She also liked watching the Dragon rollercoaster too! She really had a good time. We all did!
