I haven't posted about this, neither has my sister, but I would appreciate if you could pray for our mom. Last May she started having "episodes" where her blood pressure sky rockets and her heart starts palpitating and racing real fast. Her doctor put her on blood pressure meds and it really didn't help too much. She was sent to a specialist and they found a pretty good sized cyst on her kidney. Thinking this was the cause of the episodes. She was supposed to go to Arizona last June, but the trip was cancelled because of this and the fear of her being in the air and possibly having a stroke.
After months of dealing with this (the episodes come and go spuratically) she had the cyst drained a couple weeks ago. She was able to go to Arizona, but apparently she had several episodes while she was out there. When the fluid that was drained from her kidney was set off for testing it came back abnormal. Her doctor ordered a cat scan for her. She went for the cat scan yesterday and while she was in the waiting room she felt her blood pressure rising. She told the nurse at the desk, they took her blood pressure and it was really high. She took her medication, waited a little while and it was still high. After all that they sent her to The Christ Hospital by ambulance to the ER. They monitored her (she's gone thru this before, about 4 times now) and she was sent home.
Its scary not knowing what's going on and with her blood pressure getting so high, it really makes me nervous. So, if you could say a little prayer for her and hope somebody finds what is causing this.

I was wondering how her health was......I knew about the cyst but the blood pressure going up so high is very scary!! wow! I am sooo sorry she is going thru this. She is such a sweet and gentle woman! I will definitely pray hard for her! Tell her I am praying!
Oh will do. I hope she feels better and they figure everything out soon. i will keep her in my prayers!!!
