Our friends Jane and Jason (whom we met in Mexico during our hurricane trip and still stay in contact), welcomed their first baby into the world last evening! Her name is Jillian Jayne (got the "J" thing going) and is absolutely beautiful! Jane was due on Feb. 5th and her doctor decided to evict Jillian yesterday via c-section. Mom and baby are doing great! She weighs 7lbs 9 oz and is 19.75 inches. Jason sent us pics and I cried! It brought back memories from just a year ago (well, almost a year). I am having a hard time with Olivia turning one...if you haven't guessed!

everyone has a hard time with one, then it goes pretty well until school. we've all been through it.
Oh Congrats to them!!! Lets see a picture of the baby!!!! The baby year is very hard to lose but you have soooo many fun things ahead with Lil O........believe me, it only gets better! There's nothing like being able to hear her say she loves you and to be able to talk to you and do fun things with you........you will love it!

Oh trust me, the second year is so much more fun!!! Age 1 is definately a hard birthday but then you realize how much fun things are the second year and then you're sad to see age 2, and then 3 and so on. It never ends - once you get there you think it's the best year and don't want it to end. I'm still having a hard time with Gavin turning 5 (and he's already turning about turning 6!)
That last comment should have said "he's already TALKING about turning 6"
