I got a couple things accomplished today and still have a lot to do! My house is a mess ad I don't feel like cleaning. I figure I am going to spend pretty much all week cleaning so I am slacking this week. Although, if I were to keep up and clean it this weekend I wouldn't have to worry about as much next week. OH WELL!
We went to Buddy's today and signed our contract so we are good to go for installation on Wednesday. After Buddy's we went to Kroger and I ordered a big cake and an individual cake for the birthday girl. I took one of my invitations with me and they are going to decorate the cake just like the invitation! I am very excited about that. Its the little things that make me happy!
I REALLY needed to clean the outside part of our windows. With all the rain we had our windows surrounding our deck were very dirty. Plus we get all the afternoon sun shining on the back of our house so it made it look even dirtier! So, since its nice out today I put Olivia's jacket on her and she walked around the deck and looked at the horses while I cleaned the windows. They look so much better now!
Now I am relaxing and thinking of all the things I should be doing, but don't have the motivation for! Have a good weekend!!

Oh this brings me back to when my baby turned one. You want everything perfect. It will be a lasting memory for everyone.
I put that same effort into my kids' parties but just be sure to take in the moment yourself! You will never have it back and sometimes we work so hard to make it great that we work right through the "moment". I do it it too often.
She is such a lucky girl!
Don't worry about cleaning. I'm so over that when I have parties! Of course I still clean, but I don't stress as much - nobody notices and the house gets wrecked in about 5 minutes anyway! Just enjoy the party!
