I hate to be a downer on Christmas, but I have an old co worker who needs prayers tonight and the days to come. She worked at The Plastic Surgery Group and quit about 3 years ago...her name is Linda (she worked switchboard, Crystal...people would always say you sounded like her!) Anyways, Linda has a daughter who was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2005 (she was 3 at the time) She had several surgeries, went through chemo and all kinds of things any 3 year old should not have to go through. Well, after these surgeries they found the tumor came back and is in an area in the brain that is inoperable. She has been on hospice for about a month or so and I get e mails updating me on her condition. Her dad set up a "blog" so to speak on carinbridge.com and I got an e mail tonight saying her time on earth is almost over. Her breathing is very shallow and she is off everything, except pain meds. She can't swallow and she has bleeding in her abdomen.
I just wanted to pass the word, even though none of you know her I think they would appreciate any prayers to get them thru this time. Their daughter's name is Regan, she is 5 years old.

Wow Carrie! I had wondered how her little girl was doing. I worked at TPSG when Linda told Julie about it. That is just awful! I cannot even begin to imagine what her family is going thru......I will continue to pray for all of them.
Oh my gosh, that is horrible. At least Regan will be surrounded by even more love very soon with the ultimate provider as her care taker. I will write it on my wall now to remember to pray. Oh poor mother and family!
