Its Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

I got all of my Christmas decorations out! I am so happy I have it all out and its now the weekend! We buy a real tree every year so we will get our tree in about 2 weeks. I LOVE Christmas and all the decorations and smells ahhh! I will enjoy it even more now that Olivia is here. I am in the mood to bake cookies and spread my cheer!

We are having our annual Christmas party on Dec. 1st. Matt and I usually host it, but since our basement isn't finished yet our friends Chris and Heather are hosting it at their house and we are the co-hosts! I will make a lot of the food and help with all the things we will need. We also do a white elephant gift exchange! We started that last year and it was a lot of fun...Matt and I played a trick on everyone! We put in a HUGE box our USED plunger, toilet paper, a magazine and air freshner. We bought a real gift too (Target gift card) and our friend Dave chose our box and he was the perfect person to pick our box because he is just a funny guy. Well, he opened it and was like "What the ..." so of course no one wanted to steal his gift so he thought he was stuck with the "crappy" gift! After the gift exchange was over we revealed the true gift...so needless to say him and his wife were happy!

I have ideas on what I want to buy for everyone so I am happy that I just basically have to go to a couple stores and purchase a few things. I am actually going tomorrow to pick up a couple things...the sooner I get it over with the better I feel and the more of a mood I get!
