A few "things" have happened over the past few weeks and I am beginning to wonder if we have Casper living in our house. I still believe its all just batteries dying, but lastnight Matt scared me! So, over the past few weeks Olivia's toys just start playing all by themselves. It started off with this pots and pans set she has where no one would be around it and it would start playing one of its songs. It did it for several days and then it quit working because the batteries died. Then she has a Winnie The Pooh Choo Choo Train that started to blow its whistle all on its own. Its done it several times, but still is working. Then Monday I was in on the computer and Olivia was sound asleep when her Little Leap leap frog started singing the alphabet! Then yesterday we were playing in her room when her Leap Frog play station started playing the tuba all on its own! I wasn't near it and neither was Olivia. I have just thought its just the batteries are getting low which is most likely the case, but lastnight I made the Bob Evans microwavable mashed potatoes. Matt scooped some out for me and him. A few minutes went by and I walked over to where the mashed potatoes were sitting and there was a big glob of them on the counter. I said to Matt "You got a big glob of mashed potatoes on the counter" and he said he didn't do it. He swears he didn't do it and he said it was a ghost. It really freaked me out because of Olivia's toys!
Obviously all of it is coincidental, but when Matt randomly said that lastnight it made me stop and think. I haven't mentioned her toys playing on there own either! So, lastnight it was in my mind and I barely slept a wink. I kept thinking I was seeing things...probably because I can't see without glasses or contacts and I kept thinking I was hearing things. I also wonder that its always very cold in Olivia's room. I could turn the heat up to 90 and it would still be cold...but our house was brand new...no one else lived in it.
I don't know. Ghosts scare me and if Casper is living here I hope he minds his own business!

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh Carrie, it's me, your ghost ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh thanks for the potatoes but can you add more salt next time.
wow, that is creepy. you poor thing. we had a toy once that would play on it's own. it found it's way to the dumpster real fast! haha!
take all the batteries out of her toys that are doing that and see what happens.
ewww, i just got the chills.
oh and the cold room is creepy too! maybe your house was built on a burial place.
Me and Cheryl aint afraid of no ghosts!!! ha ha We are GHOST BUSTERS!!! Remember Cher?? ha ha
You for some reason I have never been afraid of ghosts or spirits or anything like that.....it just doesn't scare me which is weird cause everything pretty much scares me!! Ghost movies never scare me, it's the real life murderer movies that scare me to death!!!
Let us know if there is anything else weird that happens! I find it fascinating.
that was supposed to say You know, for some reason
Well, I hate to burst your bubble but all of those toys are toys that I gave you (I think except for the winnie the pooh thing) and all of those toys used to do that at my house too! It would drive me nuts sometimes. So, unless the ghost is living in the toys then I think its the toys doing it and not a ghost! Don't know what to say about the mashed potatoes though ;)
I am dying laughing. you crack me up, maybe you could call go BUSTERS! I ain't afraid of no ghost!!
We have 1 room that is colder than all the rest too. It was Ryan's nursery, luckily he never used it.
You know Casper was a very friendly ghost.
Ok, enough joking it sucks when something like that spooks you and everything becomes scary.
I hope your house wasn't built on an ancient Indian burial ground like in Poltergeist!! Go to the light CarolAnn.
ha ha CRUP CHERYL!!!! HA
Their....baaaack!!! ha ha CRUP!
ghosts can attach themselves to certain items - usually antiques, but it could be anything.
try telling it to go away. i told one off at my old house once, and it seemed to work.
