Lastnight was rough. It started out fine. Olivia fell asleep at 8:45 pm and was sound asleep. Around 10 or so an emergency signal came on the tv. I turned the channel to NBC and the news had cut into regular programming. Talking about the storm and where it was headed. I watched for about an hour upstairs and around 11 pm we all went to the basement. There was a tornado warning for our county (Kenton) and I didn't want to take any chances. Olivia woke up as I picked her up and carried her, I thought she would fall right back to sleep.
The sirens went off and it got a little windy and there was a lot of lightning and that was it. At midnight the warning had expired and we went back upstairs to go to bed...Olivia was still awake. I layed her down and she was trying to fall asleep. She would be very still for a few minutes and I thought she was sleeping then she would squirm around and cry. This went on until 1:30 am, which at that point she started to really cry. She was screaming, crying, wailing....I just wanted to go to sleep. I tryed giving her a bottle and she wouldn't take it...so I let her cry. I couldn't do anything for her. Eventually she did take a couple of ounces and she fell asleep around 2 am. She slept 'til a little after 8 this morning, but I am still a little tired.
Now, I woke up with my throat all scratchy and a little cough. It started lastnight around 9 so I am getting some things today to hopefully kick it in the butt. I can't get sick. I have my flu shot today at 2 pm, so maybe that will help get rid of this scratchy throat/cough thing.

We had a rotten stormy night too. I am very sleepy. Oh well it is the weekend!!! Hope you feel better!
Apparently it stormed pretty bad here too but thank goodness I was sleeping soundly so I didn't hear a thing!!! I would have been scared to death had I known it was going on out there! ha ha Shawn was awake and he said he kept waiting for me to come running out of our room! ha ha
Hope you feel better, that's how my started. Remember, medicine doesn't cure anything all it does is make the symptoms feel better.
I think it stormed here too, but I didn't even notice it. That little booger, Olivia - tell her no more of that or she's in trouble!
