Well, we are back to normal. My grandma and aunt left yesterday afternoon. It was a good time. Its been so busy and loud at our house the past week that it feels weird to be quiet again! My cousin Maggie goes back to Germany tomorrow. They are flying out of Philly so they will drive to Philly tomorrow and don't actually fly out until Friday and will be back in Germany Saturday. It was so nice seeing her. Who knows when we will see her again.
So, some of the things we did while they were in town were: Thursday we went to Montgomery Inn (the boathouse) after that we went to Graeter's in Mariemont. Its my aunt's favorite ice cream and after Graeter's we came back home and my cousin Maggie and aunt Janet came over too. Friday we were at the Creation Mueseum almost all day then Matt and I had our couple's shower to go to that evening. Saturday we went to Hofbrahaus and walked around Newport on the Levee. I can't remember if we did anything Saturday night. I don't think we did, I think we just stayed home in the evening. Sunday we had our cookout here with everyone which was fun. Monday we went to Max & Erma's in Kenwood to see a couple of my grandma's friends and my sister, Gary, Gavin and Avery came over afterwards and we ordered pizza. My aunt, grandma, mom and cousin all met the rest of our family at Bucca de Beppo in Rookwood. I stayed home because they went to dinner so late. And yesterday morning we met my aunt's friend at Brio for lunch before they left. It was alot of eating that's for sure! I think I ate more the past 5 days than I have in the past 5 months!

My mom was really sad yesterday after they left. She always gets sad when my grandma leaves. I felt bad for her. who knows when she'll see her again. Unless my mom flys out to ARizona to visit her.

It sounds like a very fun and meaningful visit. I am glad it went so well. I get tired of being with the same people more than 24 hours or so.i start getting grumpy. I am used to my own fam but other than them, ohh watch out.
All that food sounds so yummy...and expensive.

It sounds like a wonderful visit. I love busy weeks like that. It's always downer when family leaves, poor Mom, maybe she needs some Olivia time. Grand-babies make everything better!!
I'm glad you all had fun together! That's great! My house is NEVER quiet! I actually hate a quiet house......it's just weird to me. Oh and Sonya's right, when she spends too much time with someone she gets grumpy, you should have seen us when we were together a whole week for VBS and the Camp Swoneky week........we both looked at each other and said "I've been with you too dang much, I need a break!" ha ha I love that she and I have that kind of relationship.....we will tell each other when we are under each others skin! ha
