How come it seems like when Olivia sleeps so soundly I don't? Monday and Tuesday were a little rough for her. I think mostly because of the whole diarrhea thing. She woke up a couple times each night. Luckily I fed her and she falls right back to sleep, but I fall asleep as well and don't put her back in her crib and wind up sleeping upright all night long and its kind of a half awake sleep! So yesterday she started doing a little better, she pooped twice which is a lot better than Monday and Tuesday which she pooped after every feeding. Lastnight I put her in her crib and she slept like an angel all night long. However, I couldn't sleep! Its so aggravating when I can't get back to sleep....especially when I have to wake up early to go to work. UGH!
So today her diaper rash is looking a little better. Its still pretty red, but I can tell a difference. I have been slabbing on Aquaphor each time I change her. I am running out of it now and need to get more! However, changing her is becoming quite the challenge lately. She rolls all over the place, I can't change her on her changing table anymore because she constantly rolls and when I put the Aquaphor on she flips over and some of it comes off on the changing pad! Oh brother!!!

you never realize how much you need sleep until it is not there.
The rolling around only gets worse as they get older. Since it is a pet peeve of mine, (the poop gets everywhere)I make my kids learn early (around one) that that is not acceptable. I hold them still or slap their legs a little bit. i am the mean mom remember? I know what you mean though. At her age,she is just exploring the world. You can say no no to her so she knows that she shouldn't do that. I know she is too cute to say no to.
Oh the Joys of Motherhood!! Wait until she can get up and walk away. Fun stuff.
I have terrible insomnia so I feel your pain.
Good news! Olivia's diaper rash is now a pinkish color, its definitely clearing up!
Oh and 1 more thing, she has only pooped twice today! YEA!

Isn't motherhood great?? The rolling around drives me nuts too - it only gets worse as they get older so try and stop it as soon as you can! Whenever my kids sleep good it seems like I don't too.
