Olivia's first tooth is starting to come in! My baby is getting bigger each day! Last Thursday evening she was very irritable, wouldn't take her bottle, she cried for 2 hours. Anything we did didn't help her. We gave her Tylenol and it eventually kicked in. Matt looked up teething symptoms and she had every one, but a fever. She's been drooling A LOT, its making her chin break out from drooling so bad.
Yesterday she opened her mouth and I thought I saw a little whiteness on her bottom. So, I had her put my finger in her mouth (after I washed them) so I could feel around. Sure enough, its the beginnings of a tooth. Its barely poking thru, but I can feel it, its sharp!!

Once it pokes through they feel a little better. Ryan had a horrible time with his teeth. Tylenol will get you through.

Our pediatrician is really against Baby Orajel. We didn't use it, I recommend Tylenol and frozen teethers.

Yeah, our pediatrician is against Orajel too, that's what I have been doing is freezing her little teethers!
yeah ours is dead set against it because it has been seen to cause heart palpitations in babies. People still use it too.
some babies arento bothered by teeth. Sammy couldn't care less...sawyer is medium.
Frozen wash cloths work
Awww! That's so exciting. We did the frozen/cold wash cloths. They also would bite on my knuckle.
