We are going out of town this weekend. We are going to Mansfield to visit my mother in law, but to also do a few other things also. My parents, sister, niece and nephew are going too. My parents, sister, niece, nephew, myself and Olivia are leaving early afternoon Thursday and Matt is meeting us there Thursday evening. He is bringing Huck. My sister got a hotel room for Thursday night because she wanted to take the kids swimming and stuff and the rest of the weekend we will all stay at Pam's house. Friday we are planning on going to the prison where Shawshank Redemption was filmed. I've seen the prison several times, but never had the desire to take a tour of it:) My dad is a huge movie and history buff and he really wants to see it. Then there is a carousel I think we'll take the kids to. Saturday we are going to Cedar Point. Matt and I go atleast once a year, but no one else has been there and I am looking forward to them going, I think they will love it. Sunday is the whole reason we are going. Pam lives about 15 minutes from Mid Ohio race track. This year is the first year for the IRL (Indy Racing League) to race there.
My dad LOVES Indy car racing (completely different from NASCAR) and when he heard they were racing at Mid Ohio he wanted to go! He goes to the Indy 500 EVERY year and I think he has a countdown from the day of the race to next years race! Its seriously that bad! So, he is looking forward to it and I am looking forward to the weekend with my family!
So, today is my packing day. I would save it for tomorrow, but I have an eye doctor appointment by my parents house and I gotta get a few things tomorrow for our trip. It will probably take me all day to get it all together! I have a list for myself, Olivia and Huck! Matt is on his own, he just needs to worry about packing his own things! Plus I am doing laundry today too. I usually do my laundry on Friday, but this week I am breaking the rules :)

Oh, I would love to see the prison too! Shawshank is one of my favorite movies!!! Morgan Freeman is one of my favorite actors.......I just love that man!

We always take pictures of that prison from the road on the way to Lura's house. you will be very close to her. I had no idea there were tours for there. How do you get hooked up with that or set it up?

What hotel has the water park? I will definately try to change the plans. We are just staying at a standard hotel with a regular pool - didn't know there was one with a water park.

Yes, the motel in Mansfield with the water park is nice! But now I know you aren't staying there since I'm not reading these in order and i'm not commenting in order. LOL - sorry!!
