The picture posted below I took 3 days before I had Olivia. It was during our icestorm in February and I caught the sun setting just at the right time and I took the picture.
After I took the picture I sent it to my mom who sent it to several people who all now use the picture as there screen saver! About 6 weeks ago I entered the picture in an amateur photo contest and I received a letter stating I am a semi finalist!!!! Plus the picture is going to be published in a book coming out in the fall!
I got an email the other day sayin I can register my photo and any procedes I will get 10%! So, if someone were to make it into a mousepad or put it in a calendar or something I could get a 10% cut from it!!!!
I took this picture looking out our back deck...who knew I could turn it into a masterpiece ha!!!
Oh, I had to name the picture too...I named it Winter Peace, I thought it was appropriate.

The girls at work just noticed this picture on my desktop and wanted it too!!! I hadn't even told them about it, they just noticed and wanted me to email it to them so I did! ha ha You are famous!

the book thing is a scam I am afraid. it just happened to me a few months ago and I called my dad all excited and he clued me in.
