So, Matt and I had a heart to heart lastnight. I explained to him a little more of the conversation between his mom and me. He said he is partly to blame because he told her if I don't go back to work he will have to work 8:30 am to 8 pm to make up for my lost money. So, of course she is going to side with her son. Matt, being the financial guru he is, is looking long term as far as retirement etc...he has good intentions. He is going to talk to his mom and tell her she needs to keep quiet when it comes to things like this. He said she is very outspoken, well yeah, I know that!!! But she needs to keep her mouth shut and mind her own business and not get into our marriage! I am really dreading her coming down next week, I would feel better about it if Matt were going to be home from work! Oh well, I guess I'll grin and bare it and pray the Lord will get me thru! Atleast its going to be nice and I can take walks!
So, I am going to leave here in a few minutes to pick Matt up from work and were heading to my parents. (Yes, I will call you Crystal!) Matt has to coach tonight (AAU Boys Basketball) he has a tournament in Franklin, OH guess its near Dayton. He'll come back to my parents tonight and were going to spend the night and he has to go back to Franklin tomorrow morning, so I will be hanging with my folks tomorrow 'til he's finished. I am looking forward to it, they like to give me a break and watch Olivia for me so its nice! I think I am going to the mall, my parents gave me a gift certificate. Its really for Olivia, but they said I can use it on myself if I want and I think I deserve it!!! She has PLENTY of clothes that she can't fit into yet! The little runt, she is just now fitting into newborn clothing!!!!
Have a good weekend!!!!

Hey Carebear, call me when you get to your mom's. We can walk over to the mall together and grab a bite to eat if you want!
I can relate to the week your about to have with your mom-in-law. We lived in Texas for 3 years and my husband Mom would come down for visits every so often and would usually stay a week. Well he had to go to work and I was always left all day with her and it was so hard because I was in my mid 20's and she was around 70 (she's 75 now), and we had absolutely nothing in common. I just dreaded her visits. We would just sit there and stare at the walls. My parents also visited some, but they always stayed in a hotel, which was nice although they were welcome to stay at our home and they would kind of do their own thing instead of being so dependent on us for their enjoyment. I always liked that. Anyway, I know how hard that is and I hope it goes well!!
My mother in law lives less than a mile from me. I am so glad you guys are talking it out. It will all work out!! You have a whole prayer team behind you. You will do what is best for Olivia!! Have a great weekend.
I hope my gifts continue your "cheer-a-thon". you sound much more up beat.
Keep talking and figure it out for your baby girl.

we miss you Carridee
Happy Sunday
I think most mom in laws mean well but aren't always tactful and ddon't always think before they speak. I hope that her visit isn't too stressful and that will see what an awesome mom you are to Olivia! That is what matters most.
